The development will consist of upgrading the existing sheltered housing accommodation, including the introduction of the ExtraCare element to accommodate local people with some or no care needs. The scheme will add 12 more homes for local older people in an extension to the

Refurbishment of Dewi Sant Hospital wards.

New build medical centre that will provide local GPs and community health care services with extra space and modern facilities to meet the needs of 15,000 patients.

The £7.5m Porth School project involves demolition of an existing 1930’s building, 6th Form Blocks and Swimming Pool, the construction of a new, two storey, BREEAM Excellent primary school for 330 pupils and refurbishment to areas of the existing secondary school.
